The time to truly observe it, to pause within it, to leave a trace through gesture.
At a moment when everything moves fast and images endlessly follow one another, Broder Paris invites you to slow down - to bring back color, thread and texture, and to rediscover a more sensitive and attentive presence to the city.
Starting from a black-and-white photograph of Paris, you are invited to bring color, thread and beads into the image, revealing your own interpretation of the city.
Gathered around a table, in a lively and welcoming place, we embroider, exchange and share a meal together.
A sensitive and immersive interlude where gestures are passed on, hands meet, and each participant invents their own Paris, surrounded by others.
The experience Broder Paris
Broder Paris was born from a deep attachment to this city, a fascination for black-and-white photography, and a passion for embroidery understood as a language of gesture.
Here, you are not asked to reproduce a model.
I share a selection of hand embroidery techniques with you, and from there, you are free to choose where to place your stitches, your colors and your materials.
You create your own interpretation of Paris.
Here, we take our time.
We learn, we experiment, we sometimes laugh.
We create at our own rhythm, in a warm, welcoming and caring atmosphere.
No prior experience required.
Everything is provided.
You leave with your own creation.
